FAQ

Frequently Asked Questions.

What do we mean by the design of educational spaces?

Educational spaces are those environments that support any learning process, curricula and pedagogical methods (traditional or innovative – using current technologies and methodologies). The interior design of these spaces ensures the adequacy of the type of activity with the optimal configuration, equipment, functionality and decor, so that the users’ performance is maximised. An efficient educational space will always be in harmony with the natural environment, will encourage social participation and will provide a healthy, comfortable, safe and stimulating environment for its users.

The conventional unit of measurement of learning environments is the ‘classroom’. On a large scale, however, the most complex learning environments become combined education systems, formal and informal, both inside and outside schools.

What are the benefits of a project designed by Pavoni Studio?

Whether there are learning environments at school, universities, at the office or at home, Pavoni Studio projects aim to define a new paradigm: placing the user at the centre. The benefits of a user-centered space include improving concentration and productivity, focusing on personal development, decreasing a sedentary lifestyle, growing collaboration initiatives between groups, teams or departments, and improving overall satisfaction and learning outcomes.

In successful institutions and organisations, program directors and managers commonly use the potential of the learning or work environment as a management tool, encouraging students, teachers and employees to reach their full potential.

What design elements improve the quality and efficiency of a space?

Lighting, acoustics, ergonomics, flexibility of use, chromatics, air quality, customisation capabilities and the use of natural plants.

What is the price of an interior design project?

Prices can vary depending on the type of project, complexity, the degree of intervention on the built space, but also on the time of realisation. For a customised offer and more details specific to your project, please send us a message through the Contact page.

Where can I purchase furniture, flooring, lighting fixtures, textiles and accessories suitable for my project?

Our interior design projects always include moodboards and specific product sheets, with information and contacts of an extensive portfolio of specialised suppliers.

How long does it take to complete a project?

The stages of a project are divided into 3 categories: concept (design, design), budgeting and acquisition and implementation. Depending on the complexity of the project, each stage can have different factors that determine its own duration and implicitly the final duration of the project. These factors include the size of the designed area, the level of intervention (space optimisation, rearrangement, complete design, etc.), the source of the materials and products used, the actual construction and assembly, etc. Taking into account these elements, the described steps can have the following time intervals:

• Concept (design, design): between 2-6 weeks
• Budgeting and procurement *: between 2-8 weeks
• Implementation: starting with 2 weeks

* Consider only placing orders; delivery depends on suppliers and the source of the products.

Who coordinates and monitors the implementation of my project?

We do 😀 Pavoni Studio.

The fundamentals of any successful project:

Perfect planning.

Before starting any project, make sure you have all the information you need to orchestrate the perfect planning of your project, from concept to implementation. To reduce the risk of alterations from the initial plan, our advice is to address a team of professionals for support and always start with the end in mind. The better the project is defined during the initial phase, the lower the chances of having ‘surprises’ along the way.
