A Classroom Designed for Brightness and Focus at Primary School No. 136, Bucharest ☀️✨

Creating a space where children feel motivated and inspired is key to fostering a love for learning. For our latest design at Primary School No. 136 in Bucharest, we’ve transformed the classroom into a bright, inviting environment that encourages both focus and creativity. By using smart design elements, we’ve crafted a space where students aged 6-10 can thrive, collaborate, and explore their potential.

Key features that define the classroom’s engaging design:

1.Solar Chromatics for a Luminous Space

The use of warm, sunny hues throughout the classroom creates a vibrant, uplifting atmosphere. Solar chromatics—such as soft yellows and light oranges—help flood the space with natural warmth and light, ensuring a bright environment where children feel energized and eager to learn.

2.Intelligent Use of Lighting for Enhanced Spatial Perception

To further enhance the room’s spatial perception, intelligent lighting solutions have been integrated. Adjustable lighting fixtures, combined with large windows, allow the room to adapt to different times of day and activities, ensuring the right level of brightness for both focused work and collaborative tasks. The lighting not only adds to the aesthetic but also makes the space feel more expansive.

3.Variety of Seating Areas

Recognizing the need for flexible learning environments, the classroom features a variety of seating areas to accommodate different learning styles. From ergonomic chairs to cozy nooks for quiet reading or group work, students have the freedom to choose where they feel most comfortable, supporting both individual focus and dynamic group activities.

4.Acoustic Ceiling Elements for Optimal Focus

The ceiling features specially designed acoustic elements that help maintain the ideal sound level within the room. These elements play a crucial role in reducing noise and ensuring a peaceful environment that fosters concentration. By supporting the right decibel levels, the design promotes a balance between collaboration and focused individual work.

This classroom isn’t just a place to learn—it’s a space designed to encourage exploration, collaboration, and well-being, where students feel inspired to spend time, think deeply, and grow.

The interior design of educational spaces has a great responsibility for its active contribution to the learning process.
