Creating a space where young minds can thrive requires more than just functionality—it’s about fostering a sense of wonder and excitement. In our design for a classroom in “Nicolae Iorga” School in Ploiești (Prahova), we’ve curated an environment that sparks curiosity, collaboration, and growth. Every detail is crafted to make learning feel natural, engaging, and fun.

Key elements that bring the classroom to life:
1.Comfort and Flexibility
A child’s comfort is the foundation for learning. The classroom offers a variety of seating options—formal and informal—ensuring that every child feels at ease and can focus on their journey of discovery.
2.Nature-Inspired Ambience with a Pop of Blue
Inspired by nature’s calming tones, the space blends natural materials with vibrant shades of blue—baby blue for a serene, welcoming feel, and deep ink blue for a touch of boldness and focus. These colors work in harmony to create a balanced, dynamic atmosphere. Large windows allow natural light to flood the room, further connecting the interior with the outdoor world.
3.Dinosaur-Themed Fun
To add a touch of adventure and imagination, playful dinosaur-themed wall decorations bring energy and excitement to the space. These whimsical elements spark creativity and provide a fun, engaging focal point for the children.
4.Interactive Speech Bubbles
The walls are adorned with speech bubbles where students can pin their work, ideas, and thoughts. This interactive design feature invites children to share their creativity and take ownership of the space, turning the classroom into a constantly evolving gallery of inspiration.
5.Inspiring Design for Autonomy
The flexible seating layout empowers children to take control of their learning environment, fostering independence and collaboration.
This design is all about creating a space where children feel supported, excited to learn, and free to explore their own potential.
The interior design of educational spaces has a great responsibility for its active contribution to the learning process.
